Grow Our Church Founder
Simon is a lead pastor who has spent over a decade learning, mostly the hard way, what makes a church easy to find, understand and visit. The church he leads went from two visitors a year to over 350.
Before ministry, Simon worked in senior executive leadership in large schools. He holds a Master's Degree in the area of leadership, with a focus on leading change in complex organisations. He also advises school leaders on the same questions that face churches: where are we going, and does everyone know it?
What drives all of this is simple. Simon wants to see churches flourishing everywhere: churches that know where they're going, that people can actually find, and where men and women, young and old, meet Jesus and have their lives changed. Most churches he talks to are already faithful and already working hard. What they need isn't more effort. It's clarity about their direction and a few practical changes that make it easier for their community to walk through the door.
He works with pastors and leadership teams on vision and strategic planning, brand and communication, and the practical business of making a church findable and welcoming. The starting point is usually the Church Pulse check, followed by a conversation about what your results mean for your church.
